About Gerontology

A program that focuses on the human aging process and aged human populations, using the knowledge and methodologies of the social sciences, psychology and the biological and health sciences.

For all the 738 degrees awarded in Gerontology per year, the majority of them are Bachelors degree. Out of the 180 students graduating with degrees at the Postbaccalaureate certificate level across the US, 79% percent identify as women and 21% percent identify as men.
