“It is the object of administrative study to discover, first, what government can properly and successfully do, and, secondly, how it can do these proper things with the utmost possible efficiency and at the least possible cost either of money or of energy.”
These wise words come from president Woodrow Wilson, one of the biggest advocates for public administration. It is an incredibly important field, one with many focuses, specializations, and applications. Those who desire to work in public administration tend to be intelligent problem solvers.
