P.L.A.Y.’s Scholars Helping Collars Scholarship

P.L.A.Y. makes stylish and sustainable pet beds, and they also help make college dreams come true! The Scholars Helping Collars Scholarship is awarded to one high-school student who tells the best story of improving the life of a rescue animal or an animal welfare cause.

Cliff Murray and Floyd Fuller Memorial Grant

There are scholarships for horse lovers, too! Cliff Murray and Floyd Fuller founded the Vermont Horse Council in 1974, and to this day, provide financial support to students looking to study in an equine-related field.
Students must demonstrate their dedication to academics, community service, horses, and show a financial need. Students must also attend a college or university that has equine studies or animal science. The scholarship requires your resume, a letter detailing your involvement with horses and your community, as well as two letters of recommendation.
Merck Veterinary Student Scholarship Program
Amount: $5,000

A passion for animals is free, but veterinary school can be very expensive. That’s why Merck Animal Health offers $170,000 in scholarships annually to exceptional second and third-year veterinary students around the globe.
