From classical to hard rock and pop, from Tchaikovsky to the Beatles, there is no doubt that music has always mirrored and influenced our culture. There are as many genres and styles of music as there are stars in the sky, each with its own unique history, as well as meaning.
Music majors can encompass orchestra performance, music composition, conducting, vocal performance, recording management, and many other specializations or focuses.
