Kentucky Hemophilia Foundation Post Secondary Education Scholarships
Amount: $500
Deadline: January 15 & July 15, annually
Created to honor important members of the KHF, this scholarship awards college-bound students who have hemophilia or similar blood disorders. Regardless of where the student ends up going to college, Kentucky students affected by a blood disorder should consider applying.
To be eligible, the student must: have Kentucky residency, have their disorder treated in Kentucky, and other additional guidelines outlined in their application form.
Kentucky College Access Program Grant
Amount: Up to $1,900
Deadline: Varies
This program aids students who demonstrate financial need, by offering this grant to help ease tuition strain. Eligible students interested in attending public or private universities/colleges, proprietary schools, and technical colleges may apply.
In order to apply, students must: be a resident of Kentucky, demonstrate financial need, be enrolled at least half-time at an eligible school, not have any past-due financial obligations to the KHEAA or any Title IV program, file the FAFSA.
Kentucky Nursing Incentive Scholarship Fund
Amount: $3,000 (renewable)
Deadline: June 1, 2020
As its name would suggest, this program encourages students to pursue a nursing career. Aimed towards those enrolled in prelicensure or graduate nursing programs. The scholarship can cover school fees and the cost of living expenses.
Requirements include: completing 15 credit hours in an LPN, RN, BSN completion nursing programs, graduate students must complete 9 credit hours per semester, must maintain a minimum GPA that allows them to continue with coursework, work full-time as a nurse in Kentucky for at least one year per award received, complete their program on time.
Kentucky Tuition Grant
Amount: Up to $3,000

Interested in attending a private school in Kentucky but worried about the price? Then this program is for you. This tuition grant eases the financial strain of attending a college/university, by covering partial costs.
To be eligible, a student must: be a resident of Kentucky, be enrolled at a private Kentucky institute of higher learning, be a full-time student, have no past-due financial obligations to the KHEAA or any Title IV program, file the FAFSA, demonstrate financial need.
Kentucky Teacher Scholarship Program
Amount: $2,500 per semester (renewable)
Deadline: May 1, 2020
Students interested in entering the field of education should definitely consider this scholarship. The scholarship awards students pursuing their initial teaching certification at a Kentucky college, and who intend to teach within the state of Kentucky after graduation.
In order to apply, students must: be a Kentucky resident, demonstrate financial need, be enrolled full-time, have satisfactory academic progress, teach one semester at a Kentucky school for every semester a scholarship is awarded to them.
