Scholarship alert! College Raptor is excited to announce the Facebook scholarship to help learners in the Black community to succeed no matter where they are in life. We are excited to share this scholarship because it’s not just for college students, it’s for those who are looking to further their careers, find a career, or even start a Black-owned business. If you’re not familiar with Facebook, it’s time to get into the Metaverse. The Metaverse has a goal of giving over 100,000 scholarships to the Black community. The social media platform is one of the most used sites in the world and is using its influence to provide free training and resources to help those who self-identify as Black to further their careers. The application is so simple to fill out – we’ll even walk you through it!

At the start of the application, you’ll fill out your first and last name followed by your email. We suggest using an email that you check regularly so you can stay updated on the scholarship news. The application also calls for your postal code to ensure you live in the United States.
You’ll then checkmark the statements that describe you best. From small business owners to students, you can check all that apply to you. Double-check that you mark yourself as Black since this scholarship is specifically for the Black community. Submit your application and you’ll be ready to take the 90-minute exam in the Scholarship Learning Center. The learning center provides free materials for you to use for studying. You’ll then be able to claim your voucher and unlock the scholarship voucher code.
This Facebook (Meta) scholarship is unlike the scholarships College Raptor usually tells college students about. Instead of money for college expenses, this scholarship provides access to certifications that can help people further their careers and help their businesses which usually cost money. To receive the scholarship, applicants must score 80% or higher on the practice exam to receive the scholarship which then gives the voucher for the certification exams.
