There are several scholarships that current college students are eligible to apply to.

To apply for this scholarship, you’ll need a minimum GPA of 3.6, provide an unofficial transcript, a college acceptance letter (for high school students), a letter of reference from a teacher or employer, and complete an essay. Applications are accepted year-round by April 1st, July 1st, October 1st, and January 1st, and the award must be used for the following semester.

2. NICHE $2,000 NO ESSAY SCHOLARSHIP

  • Amount Awarded: $2,000
    Deadline: Last day of each month

Focus on your education, not your finances! If you are looking to avoid the stress of writing an essay, then this scholarship is worth applying for. It is open to all high schoolers, college students, and graduate students. Winners are chosen at random at the end of each month.

3. COLLEGE RAPTOR SCHOLARSHIP

  • Amount Awarded: $2,500 quarterly
  • Deadline: March 31, June 30, September 30, December 31

College Raptor offers a $2,500 scholarship to one winner and $1,000 to a runner-up quarterly. To qualify, you’ll need to register for a free College Raptor account, complete a college match profile, and submit an essay of up to 500 words. The essay should explain how the scholarship will help you achieve your educational goals. No purchase necessary.

4. $1,000 TOO COOL TO PAY FOR SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP

Amount Awarded: $1,000
Deadline: Quarterly

Awarded in March, June, September, and December, this scholarship is super easy and fast to enter. And we mean fast—you just simply enter your info into the form and cross your fingers.

The winner of the scholarship will be determined by random drawing and then contacted directly. This scholarship is open to all current high school, college, and graduate students. You may apply once per quarter.

5. EDVISORS $2,500 MONTHLY SCHOLARSHIP

  • Amount Awarded: $2,500
  • Deadline: Monthly

This monthly scholarship lets both you and your parents apply! That’s double the applications, double the chances. There is no essay required—ust fill out a quick form and you’re in the running. Winners will be chosen at random at the end of each month.

6. CITIZENS SCHOLARSHIP

  • Grand Prize Amount Awarded: $15,000
  • Quarterly Amount Awarded: $2,500

Deadline: March 31

This annual scholarship from Citizens is available to U.S. residents 17 years or older who are enrolled (or planning to enroll) in college. Winners are selected at random and you can enter by completing the application form—simple as that! It’s an excellent opportunity to offset some of your student loan debt or tuition costs. 7. SALLIE MAE SCHOLARSHIP

  • Amount Awarded: $2,000
  • Deadline: Monthly

This is another scholarship that you can double your chances of winning! Not only can you apply for this $2,000 scholarship, but so can a parent or guardian. Just enter their email and they’ll be invited to apply for the scholarship on your behalf. The remaining 2024 deadlines are August 31st, September 30th, October 31st, November 30th, and December 31st.

8. DELETE CYBERBULLYING SCHOLARSHIP

  • Amount Awarded: $1,000
  • Deadline: December 31

Take a stand against cyberbullying. This scholarship is offered to high school, college, and graduate students who attend or plan to attend an accredited U.S. college. To apply, you’ll need to answer one of two questions in a 500-word essay: Why it’s important to delete cyberbullying or how cyberbullying has personally impacted you.

9. NICHE $25,000 NO ESSAY SCHOLARSHIP

  • Amount Awarded: $25,000
  • Deadline: September 31

In 2023 alone, Niche awarded over $285,000 in scholarships—many of which don’t require an essay—to help students pursue higher education. This fall, they’re giving one student $25,000 to help pay for tuition, housing, books, and other college expenses. To apply, create a Niche account and fill out the application. The winner will be selected by random drawing by October 15th.
