1. ACF VISIONARY SCHOLARSHIP

  • Amount: $1,000-$2,500
  • Deadline: December 1

Win money for college by sharing why college is important to you—in a 500-word essay, that is. In addition to the essay requirement, you must fill out the ACF Visionary application and submit your most recent high school transcript. If selected, the money will be paid directly to your institution.

2. THE HAGAN SCHOLARSHIP

  • Amount: $7,500/semester
  • Deadline: December 1

This merit and need-based scholarship was created to help students graduate college debt-free. Recipients have the opportunity to earn up to $7,500 for eight successive semesters—that’s $60,000 towards your college degree! To be eligible, you must have a minimum GPA of 3.5, a minimum ACT score of 23 or SAT score of 1150, demonstrate financial need, enroll at an eligible college as a full-time student, and plan to work a part-time job. Apart from the money, recipients receive benefits such as free workshops, brokerage accounts, and study abroad options.

3. TED & HOLLY ROLLINS SCHOLARSHIP

  • Amount: $5,000
  • Deadline: December 1

Are you a high school senior with a story to tell related to your life, major, or dream career? You could win $5,000 by sharing it with the Ted & Holly Rollins scholarship committee. This application only requires you to share your email, name, and major, and you must also write a 500-word essay.

Essay Prompt: Write an essay regarding your life story, your intended field of study, career and how you will make an impact on the world.

4. BURGER KING SCHOLARSHIPS

  • Amount: $5,000-$60,000
  • Deadline: December 16

The Burger King Foundation was created to empower students to pursue an education without financial concerns holding them back. Their goal is to give one scholarship for each Burger King restaurant—which is over 7 million! To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be a high school senior, Burger King employee, or spouse/domestic partner of a Burger King employee. The following awards will be granted:

  • Up to three James W. McLamore WHOPPER® scholarships of $60,000
  • One Nancy McLamore Scholarship of $20,000
  • Up to six King Awards at $10,000 each (granted to employees)
  • Up to 12 regional awards of $5,000 (granted to employees)

5. EQUITABLE EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP®

  • Amount: $5,000/year
  • Deadline: December 18

This scholarship supports high school seniors who strive to make a positive impact in their communities, specifically those who encourage peers to seek higher education. If chosen, you’ll also get to choose a teacher who made a difference in your life to receive a $500 award in the form of a gift card. Applicants will be selected based on the following criteria:

  • Show ambition and a commitment to inspiring others
  • Work experience
  • Unique personal or family situations
  • Financial need
  • Essay submission

Essay Prompt:Earning a college degree can enhance economic mobility and positively impact both you and those around you. As a college graduate, how do you plan to pay it forward and inspire others in your community to pursue their own college education?”

6. KITCHEN CABINET KINGS ENTREPRENEUR SCHOLARSHIP

  • Amount: $2,500
  • Deadline: December 23

Are you passionate about business and earning money for school? If so, answer the business-related topic in 300 words and you could win $2,500—bonus points are awarded for creativity. To apply, you must be a current undergraduate student or an incoming freshman for 2025.

Essay Prompt: Explore current trends in e-commerce and predict how they will shape the future of online business.

7. ASCENT & COLLEGE CONFIDENTIAL CAMPUS DREAM SCHOLARSHIP

  • Amount: $1,000
  • Deadline: December 31

You could win $1,000 just by sharing who you’d invite to the college campus of your dreams for a day. Dream big—it can be anyone! For a chance to win this scholarship:
