8 Scholarships with November Deadlines
1. EDVISORS $2,500 MONTHLY SCHOLARSHIP
- Amount Awarded: $2,500
- Deadline: Monthly
This monthly scholarship lets both you and your parents apply! That’s double the applications and double the chances. There is no essay required—just fill out a quick form (only five questions!) and you’re in the running. Winners will be chosen at random at the end of each month.
2. LINDSEY VONN ‘GREAT STARTS WITH GRIT’ SCHOLARSHIP
- Award Amount: 2 winners, $5,000 each
- Deadline: November 1
The Lindsey Vonn Foundation believes every girl can “embrace who they are, define their future, and change the world.” This scholarship was created to support low-income female high school students between the ages of 13 and 18 who have faced obstacles.
Essay Prompt: How have you embodied a gritty mindset through the obstacles and challenges you’ve had to overcome?
3. EMPOWER YOUR FUTURE WITH THE RAS SCHOLARSHIP
- Award Amount: $500
- Deadline: November 1
Do you have a story to share about the power of communication? This scholarship is open to all college students 18 and older, and all majors. To apply, you’ll need to complete the application form and 500-word essay. The winner will be notified on December 1 of the same year.
Essay Prompt: Share a personal story of a time when effective communication made a significant difference in your life. Reflect on how this experience has shaped your understanding of its importance in building relationships and solving problems.
4. MENTAL HEALTH IMPORTANCE SCHOLARSHIP
- Award Amount: $1,000
- Deadline: November 1
Mental health is important, and taking care of yourself is a necessity. While college can be such an exciting time, it’s also okay to seek support if you need it. If you believe mental health is important, fill out the application and answer the following essay prompt in 400-600 words:
Essay Prompt: Why do you believe your mental health is important? How do you maintain your mental wellness?
5. ELKS MOST VALUABLE STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP
- Award Amount: 500 awards worth $1,000 – $7,500
- Deadline: November 12
Do you plan to go to college? Great news—each year, the Elks National Foundation gives aways 500 four-year scholarships, ranging from $1,000 to $7,500 per year. That means you could receive between $4,000 and $30,000 total to help pay for your college education! To apply, you’ll need to complete an online application and submit an essay. Applicants are chosen based on leadership and financial need.
6. JACK KENT COOKE COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP
- Award Amount: Up to $55,000
- Deadline: November 14
This scholarship is for high-achieving high school seniors who need financial help and want to attend top four-year colleges. Depending on your financial situation and other scholarships, you could receive up to $55,000 per year. This award is meant to help pay for the majority of your school costs–including tuition, living expenses, books, and other required fees.
To be eligible, you must be a high school senior planning to graduate in spring 2025. You must be enrolled in an accredited four-year college for fall 2025, have a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.75, and show that you need financial help with a family income of up to $95,000 per year. You’ll need to submit two academic recommendations, one counselor recommendation, a school report, and transcripts.
7. EDUCATION MATTERS SCHOLARSHIP
- Award Amount: $5,000
- Deadline: November 30
If you believe that education matters, then this scholarship gives you the chance to state it. Why does education matter to you? What is the value you hope to receive from college? What would you do to convince the college cynics that education is worth it? By writing an essay speaking up for the importance of education, you could win $5,000 to pay for your own. Applicants must be 14 years or older to apply.
Essay Prompt: What would you say to someone who thinks education doesn’t matter, or that college is a waste of time and money?
8. DRIVER EDUCATION INITIATIVE AWARD
- Award Amount: $500
- Deadline: November 30
What does being ‘in the driver’s seat’ mean to you? In the U.S., about 34,000 people die in car accidents each year. This scholarship’s topic focuses on the serious risks of being a driver. To apply, you must be enrolled in high school or college and answer the following questions in essay format in no more than 750 words:
- What is the importance of driver education in reducing the number of deaths as a result of driving?
- What steps can be taken to reduce the number of deaths related to driving?
- Have you ever had an experience of being in a car accident or have seen your friends or family members driving irresponsibly?
- What steps can you take to be a better and safer driver as well as help others become safer on the road?
