Dominican University is a somewhat selective school. The institution receives about 6,500 applications each year. The acceptance rate is around 80 percent which is equal about 5,230 students who passed the admission process of the institution. But, when the year starts, only about 700 or 13 percent of the applicants who received the letter of acceptance from Dominican University decide to register. Based on the application data, 35% of the students were men while 64% were women, however, after receiving the acceptance letter, only 68 percent of the women decided to study at Dominican University as compared to 31 percent of men who decided to enroll.
